The Mighty Howard County Fair ends each year on the last Sunday of June, and opens to the public on the previous Wednesday.

Monday and Tuesday of Fair week are set aside for vendor setup, livestock entry,

4-H static exhibit entry and judging, and entry of the Open Class competitive exhibits.
