2007 MIGHTY HOWARD COUNTY FAIR
4-H & FFA POULTRY SHOW
This year
at the Mighty Howard County Fair a 4-H and FFA Poultry show was held on

On April 28
exhibitors were able to purchase market broilers for their project. Those
broilers now came to the fair for judging based on health and vigor, fleshing,
feathering, conformation, skin condition and uniformity.
Lightweight Market Broiler Class;
Samuel
Back, Red; Malinda Bartels, Red; Myranda Bartels, White; Myranda Bartels,
White; Geoffrey Moore, White
Alan Mork,
Blue.
Heavyweight Market Broiler Class:
Carmen
Dohlman, White; Carmen Dohlman, White; Troy Klimesh, Blue;
Champion Broiler Pen was shown by Alan Mork. Reserve Champion Broiler Pen was shown by
Troy Klimesh.
Rate of Gain was won by Troy Klimesh as well as
the award for Heaviest Market Broiler
overall.
Geoffrey
Moore received a red for his production pullets.
Jonathan
Gardner received a red for his production Hens, any color egg.
George Laub
received a red for his Duck.
Jonathan
Gardner received a white and Dallas Creger a white for their two birds per pen
entries in other market birds.
Katelyn Haw
received a red for her female waterfowl.
Jonathan
Gardner received a blue for his male Bantam entry and a blue for his female
Bantam entry.
